I have some DVD-A discs that I play in my 2012 TL which sound great, but I want to keep these originals in good condition and not use them regularly in the car. I used the "Copy" feature in Toast to make exact copies of the discs, but the display on the player reads "Mechanical Error" when these copies are inserted. At first I thought it could be the brand of DVDs (since many players can be finicky when it comes to certain brands), so as a test, I threw a bunch of MP3s into Toast and burned them onto the same brand DVD. This MP3 disc plays fine in the car.

Any ideas on why the duped DVD-A doesn't play in the car? (Incidentally, the duped DVD-A plays fine on my iMac.)

Or any ideas on what programs could help me out as far as duping these DVD-A discs?

Thanks in advance.
