Possible merge happening between Voice and Hangouts for I/O? Timing for what was considered a dead app seems a bit too coincidental. And I don't believe in coincidence.

Google Voice updated - 1st update in 9 months and just prior to Google I/O

Interesting, mine got stealth updated. Looks like one of the items was 911, maybe it was a legal issue or something they had to do to keep in compliance.
Everyone says Google Voice is a dead or useless app ?
I use it everyday for business, it is my voicemail, clients leave voice messages when I'm busy or already on the phone. It's super useful and a must have for me. I am happy with the way it is.

It looks ugly compared to the previous version. I'm also in the UK so don't benefit from anything else.
