Recently the right hand side of my screen cracked. About 1/8 of that side of the screen is now not usable because it is obscured by multicolor lines and large segments of damaged screen. What I want to do is adjust the size of my display (not resolution) so that my window resizes. That way my screen will naturally end where the lines are.

As someone who makes their living doing graphic design and web design, it is crucial that I get a solution for this problem ASAP. I welcome all ideas and thank you in advance for contributing!

Install VMWare or Parallels, then run OS X in a VM window and size that window to your viewable area.

Use an external display.
