Headphone Popping

Hey everyone,

I just picked up my new 13 inch late rMBP and I noticed there is a distinct intermittent popping noise that randomly occurs. Whether or not there is sound, it only happens when I have my headphones plugged in. It can happen once every 10 minutes or more. It doesn't effect anything I'm listening to, it just happens when I'm working silently. Not sure if this is normal or if anyone else has had this issue, any help would be appreciated!

Indeed..

I also have this issue with any headphone in - since the late 2011 17"MBP, my current late 2013 15"rMBP does this too, it is super annoying, the iPad doesn't, nor does my early 2006 17"MBP nor does my Husband's late 2011 13"MBP.

When it pops in my audio editing (DAW) work, I get really really mad!

Snap crackle and pop!
