I had google voice a while back but I cancelled it, I had tried before to obtain a number with no luck, today it worked.
So since I am not in the US the process is a bit different I have together callcentric, and finally ipkall so I have a working US number so google voice can verify the account and issue me with a number, as far as I understand it that is all I need that number for and if I now download the google voice app any calls to google voice will come through the app, that does not seem to be happening and I really have no idea what other settings to check.
When I try a test call I hear it ringing but there is no activity on my phone .
