Hi,

Recently I had my iPhone 5 screen replaced (it had developed a faint yellow halo all around the edge of the screen). All is fine now, except when I charge it face down, when I next take the phone out of normal standby I have faint grey vertical lines which run down the screen, which after a few seconds fade out completely.

It only seems to happen when I charge the phone face down. I have tried different chargers, and even taking the iPhone out of it's case, also it doesn't seem to matter what type of surface the iPhone is face down on.

Besides the obvious answer, which is to just charge it face up lol, do you have any ideas why this might be happening now with the new screen ?

My only guess is that the battery slightly swells (heat) when charging which is maybe pushing on the screen or ribbon cable.

Thanks
