Hi all,

At the top of my iPhone 4S, running iOS7, it shows my network name, a few dots to show signal strength and the 3G connection or Wifi.

Would it be possible for me to manually change the network name at the top of my screen?

Thanks!

Yes, but that involves jailbreaking. Unfortunately, apple broke jailbreaks with iOS 7.1/7.1.1/8.0 and that option is no longer there. There is no other way, so just wait for a new jailbreak to be available. There always is one no matter how many times apple tries to stop it. When a jailbreak is available, use the tweak "FakeCarrier" to change your carrier name in the status bar.

Not without jailbreaking.
