Looking for advice on selling a late Macbook 2008

I am wanting to sell my late Macbook 2008. MB467LL/A

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.4GHz
2GB DDR3 RAM
250GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
13.3-Inch Screen, GeForce
Apple Mac OS X 10.10, 5 hours Battery Life

I was thinking about trading it in on Amazon for $344 assuming they don't jerk me around for a "good" condition laptop. What's a reasonable price on Craigslist? Any other ideas?

Those look like they are selling for between $300-350 on eBay, so if Amazon trade in will give you $344 that seems like the better way to go to me so you don't have to mess around with skeevy buyers on eBay.
 
Amazon trade in is pretty easy. That or craigslist. I would avoid ebay and the hassle!
 
Never had an issue with the Amazon trade-in program. Would easily be the no-hassle option.
 
As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), and Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

If you can get $344 for it on Amazon I'd do that - I don't think you'd get much more on CL or eBay.
 
crazy have a mid 2010 macbook pro and they only off 50 bucks more !!!! :mad:

ended up selling it locally on craigslist never had issues with CL but I have heard people having horror stories
