Would this monitor work with my new 15" rMBP?

I have a late 2013 15" Retina MacBook pro with 750m. I was curious if this monitor would play nicely with it using the Thunderbolt connection.

I know there are issues with 4K so just curious how this monitor would work even though it's not 4K it's much higher resolution than a TB display.

I believe it would be best to use a Thunderbolt cable to connect to this display. Using HDMI is supported but if I recall correctly will only run at 30 Hz.

Of course, it's the only connection I use anymore. This will be replacing my 27" Thunderbolt display since Apple can't seem to update theirs.

I found it in stock at NewEgg this morning. Ordered it with 3 day shipping so hopefully I'll have it by Wednesday. Can't wait to try it out.
