Hi Guys,

I am using iphone 5 , i am facing some strange issue . please let me know if u guys know anything about this.

I have an at&t iphone 5 , earlier till 1 week back i am using that phone using rsim 9 in india, at that time i am able to see "Enable LTE" option. Now my iphone 5 got imei unlock , i removed rsim. Everything is fine except i am not able to see this "Enable LTE".

How to use LTE now , please guys if anybody knows anything about this , please let me know.

Thanks
Kiran

Maybe that AT&T iPhone 5 does not support the LTE bands available in India.
What frequencies does your carrier use to broadcast it's LTE signal?
Did LTE work and connect before with the gevey sim adapter or you just saw the option but never connected or used LTE there with that iPhone?

I never tried 4g on gevey.

2300MHz TD-LTE this is the lte band in india . i think so , this may be the issue .
May be at&t bands are diff .

Atleast it has to show that LTE option ryt .. although it wont support .

I can't speak for India but I know that iPhone 5 will not get 4G in France .iPhone 5S does .

No, the option won't even be available if the device is incompatible to provide LTE access to that region.

2 (1900 MHz)
4 (AWS)
5 (850 MHz)
17 (700b MHz)
That's the only bands that phone supports for LTE.
