Since it seems likely that this watch is imminent, how much do you think Apple will charge for this type of device? There's no official iWatch section on this forum so I thought this would be a good place to put this since it will most likely tie in with the iPhone's Health app.

It better be $99...

That'd be nice, but knowing Apple...

There might be 3 models:
1 Less than $100
2 between $100-300
3 > $300

That sounds like a good idea. Hopefully they keep all the sensors in each model.

200-250, wouldn't expect them to cost way more than an iPod touch.

With the way Apple is phasing out iPods, it wouldn't surprise me if this replaces it at the iPod's touch points.

I just realized that now that iPhones are so ubiquitous there isn't any more of that "omg look that guy has that new Apple thing that's so cool!" just like with iPods the honeymoon is over. This watch thing will be something people see on someone's wrist and be jealous of and want to go out and buy themselves so they can be seen as elite. Of course it'll be $300+. And I won't buy it because who wants to wear a watch anymore??

As we don't know what it will look like or what the functions are going to be I'd have to say somewhere between
£1-£1000000

Why not wait until it's released and find out.

Now what do you guess Saturdays lottery numbers will be?

Could care less. Will never wear the thing.

I would be will to bet you that it will be over $199. More like $299 or more. Apple is not going to give it away when it is first introduced.

As long as its not in the $3,000 - $7,000 that was rumoured  i will wait and see if :apple: announce it along with the iPhone 6, if they were to offer a bundle along with the iPhone 6 i would probably get one.

It should be $99. Because so many people do not wear a watch. That's why they can't spend $199 or above it.

do you guys really think apple will sell the iwatch with all its "rumored" features for $99? I would say it would be a premium device... tiered im not sure but I know it would be at least $299 price point for the cheapest.

Well the galaxy gear is what? 299?
So the iwatch will probably be the same price or they will try to go 100 below that.

I hope its waterproof. If it is, ill get one.

No way in hell it will be $100 or less. There are fitness trackers for $130 that do only a few things the iWatch is rumored to do. $250-$300 is my prediction.

You better start saving as you are going to be really dissapointed!

$299 or more, could be $399 to $499.

It is from Apple!

Im hoping over here...

But I am prepared for at least $199. $299 is getting up there in price, I don't know if I would pick one up at that price.

Nothing Apple does is cheap unless they feel like they can't move the product.

Case in point, Apple TV. I think I paid $329 for it for the 160GB model. Apple let it linger for a couple of years before making it cheaper, much cheaper.

Think iWatch will cost at least $300. Too much for a novelty product that has limited shelf (electronic) life. It's not like a real watch you can own for 5-10 years easily.

I think it'll be $199-$299. Personally, I'm torn about an iWatch - I love the latest gadgets and it would certainly be neat to have a watch connected to my phone with sensors for health/fitness/etc. But I'm also a watch guy - I love the design and engineering that goes into the little mechanical marvels. A watch (to me, at least) is as much a fashion accessory as it is a functional timepiece, and a classic Omega/Rolex/Tissot/whatever conveys a totally different look than a smart watch with the latest technology. I'll be interested to see how it looks and what its features are when it comes out.

200-300. It's going to be more expensive then competing products. If I were to guess I'd said either 249.99 or 299.99
