The sound coming from the speakers on my ipad is not ok. Could it be a hardware issue or maybe some issue for being jailbroken? I installed Volume Amplifier, but then uninstalled...
 
Hard to tell if it's hardware since it's jail broken. Did the speakers work OK before installing this app you mentioned?

Yes, the speakers were ok before installing Volume Amplifier+. The problem with this tweak is that it lets you rise the volume higher to what Apple has set as a maximum for a reason...

And now you know why Apple set the limit. Which iPad are you using? I do find the rMini to sound lamer than the iPad 4 or Air.

I am using the ipad 3. My speakers sound totally distorted and almost impossible to hear the basses.
