Does the top case (keyboard/trackpad/etc) get swapped out with a battery replacement? Has anyone had their battery replaced yet?

Yes, the entire top case is replaced as it includes a battery, track pad and keyboard.

I never thought you'd get a new trackpad and keyboard with the battery too.

Yes. The trackpad, keyboard, battery and top case are all one assembly, that the service providers are not even allowed to take apart, as that could potentially damage the battery cells.

If one of the parts needs replacing, the whole assembly is replaced.
