Handwritten Notes in Evernote?

I noticed someone using a stylus to take handwritten notes in Evernote on his Android phone. But I'm not seeing anyway to do this with Evernote on my iOS devices. Is it a different App on iOS and Android devices? I thought you had to use Skitch in combination with Evernote (on iOS?)?
