I have a perpetually empty folder in Launchpad "m" (http://imgur.com/PDhsrq1) that was created after I deleted every app in the sub-folder. Now, oddly enough, not only will it not go away after using the database and sqlite commands, but it will also take the name of any app I drag into it, and replace the app with an empty folder. (http://imgur.com/9KcqWWz) I have no idea where to even start. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: fixed by clearing the caches for Dock that were stored in /private/var/folders/3d/
