Can you stop OSX auto mounting a drive?

Hi,

I am just curious I have the second drive on my Macbook encrypted, however it asks to mount every time I boot. I would like to remove this option and just mount when I would like to use it (more secure in my eyes).

Is there anyone that knows if this is achievable?
 
You can edit fstab as described here to stop it from mounting.

Make sure you backup before you start tinkering around with fstab.
