What a DC 2.3 worth?

Hi guys, looking at possibly getting another G5.

Specs:

2.3 DC g5
Nvidia 6600 128mb (crap card I know)
6 gb rAm
160gb original hard drive
Comes with apple keyboard and some sort of mouse and a 19 inch LCD

Whada you recon that would be worth?

(I already have a few parts from my old g5) so can swap my ati vid card straight in. )

$150 depending on seller. What are they asking for it?

Just be careful that the ati vid card you have is PCI-E, not AGP. The DC is a Dual Core G5 and is only PCI-Express, not PCI and AGP.

So unless you have a G5 ATI X1900 to throw in it......

Thanks Red, yeah mate I know.. Yeah I have the above mentioned ati card that came straight outa my quad 2.5. I also have a fx4500 ive gotta flash.

Any idea what the straight box would be worth?

Those are going for about £100 with 2GB RAM on ebay in the UK at the moment. I picked up a DC 2.0Ghz for £80 recently. Most seem to come with the base 6600LE card.

You can add a bit more if yours is unmarked as most are scratched/bashed ex-business machines and often go without the C19 power cable. Add a few more £££ if yours also has an airport/BT card installed as the Runway card for those costs plenty. RAM comes in at about £4 per GB for the late 2005 models.

Basically, more or less in line with US prices once taxes are taken into account.
