Hey guys, I've just taken delivery of a refurbished late 2013 13" rMBP 2.6/512/i5. However upon entering the prompt to figure out the manufacturer of my screen on terminal, I receive this line of text:

"Adams-MacBook-Pro:~ Adam$ ioreg -lw0 | grep "EDID" | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6
@.`0 6
Color LCD"

What's more, my display vendor is listed as:

"ioreg -lw0 | grep -i "DisplayVendorID"
| | | | | | "DisplayVendorID" = 1552"

If someone can please provide some explanation as to what brand my screen is, that would be greatly appreciated! :)

I don't think you can find the 13 inch screen vendor. Just the 15s provide the function, but I dunno.

This command only works on the 15 inch model. Does the screen look good to you?
