iPad I have a group of photos with a date of 2008?

I've noticed that in my photos on my ipad air, a group of them have a date of november 2008. why would that be? all my other photos are fine, with the dates I had taken them

Are they off the internet or are they taken with the iPad? You also may have taken them back in 2008 and imported them to iTunes/iPad.
