Fill free space with specific playlist

Hi Guys,

Long time reader but first time poster - Hello!
I have been doing a lot of reading on this topic and realise that my second question is more of a wish, but happy to hear ideas!

How do I fill the free space on my iPhone with songs from a specific playlist on iTunes then force iTunes to re-randomize on each sync?

Well that'd be a real shame... seems like a silly feature otherwise. The other day came across a random chapter of Harry potter thanks to the current system...
