Hi
I have been trying to read how to upgrade my macbook pro to windows 8.1 through the microsoft store. I am reading a bunch of guides that seem to point to people with discs, Isos or USB disks with the file.
I do not have access to those as I only had windows 8 on a disc and was hoping I could just upgrade through the store. Upon reboot, the setup seems to fail and the macbook reboots. I am guessing this has something to do with the bootloader and the upgrade process complains.
I have already waiting a while for this macbook to download the windows 8.1 software through the store. Is there a way to recover the files that it had downloaded and make a bootable upgrade disk with that? And would my windows 8 CD key work with that version?
Any advice would be appreciated.
