Macbook Pro retina Microphone Audio hum

I have a microphone humming issue as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwZ2p2UybvA&list=UUCYe1o-YFG5TUygEzs8TtyQ

I haven't yet been able to try another headset, but I tried unplugging the power and the hum completely stops. Which makes me think its an issue with the MBPr.

Is this a known issue with the MBPr?

Update:

Tried a logitech usb headset and issue is still there but about 1/10 of the volume so not really noticeable. Seems like a Corsair Raptor issue.
