Transferring backup to rMBP whilst keeping it's original data?

Hi there,
I've recently brought a rMBP second hand with Adobe CS6 installed inside.
I want to transfer my backup to the rMBP whilst still keeping the data thats there already.
Hope you understood what I meant, but is this possible? If so how can I do it?
