Hello guys,
I cant seem to make my mbp sleep even manually, If I try to put it to sleep from the apple logo, the screen just turns off, but the computer stays awake.
I discovered I need to reboot the computer every time this happens, which fixes the issue temporarily for like 1 day then the issue comes back again.

I tried removing external USB drive, wireless mouse, and quitting all running programs.

I have seen this before, but usually on my Mac servers.

Make sure your MBP doesn't think it's sharing files with another user.

Also, I've found that while the screen will go dim, sometimes the actual sleep may be delayed for 30-60 seconds. Try issuing the sleep command again manually and then wait for a bit to see what happens.
