Hi guys , im furious

im based in the EU and ordered from slickwraps.com. I paid 43dollar for my order

Today the postman came ( finally after 2 weeks)

On my package a decal for customs from slickwrawhere it is stated that the total of my order was 75dollar. ???????

I had to pay 38!!!!dollar taxes :-S

What can I do about this? Im sooooo mad

Very sorry for the inconvenience and troubles. I understand receiving a bill from your local government for importing can be really frustrating. We have no control over what a government chooses to charge for customs, we calculate that fee automatically and through a partnership with USPS before shipping and pay on your behalf.

price stated on customs : 73 dollar

this means MUCH higher taxes!

please prive message me your e mail adres, I have already contacted the support mail on the website this morning

We will be responding to your ticket this morning.

Note: You can see that we did mark GIFT on the package. Meaning taxes/duties should not have been charged. Not a Slickwraps "ripoff" as you state really a governmental ripoff.

Thank you Slickware for your prompt response. However, I have to say;

- I believe (but I might be wrong) that taxes are still payable on imported gifts over a certain value (otherwise everything would just be marked as gifts!)

- It's a bit unfair to call it a government rip-off when you've just stated that you actively tried to collaborate in evading import taxes by marking the package as a 'gift' when it's clearly a business transaction. You're the one trying to rip off the government.

(this is completely apart from the whole question of are taxes fair or not?)

Anyway I'm not going to report you or anything, just taking issue with the logic in your statements. Good luck with clearing up the mislabeled prices situation.

Ok i ordered from yall on December 30, 2017 and it still says processing. Approximately how long does it take to finish processing and actually ship if ever. Also can I request a refund if I don’t receive my item?
