Anyone using the Transcend JetDrive Lite as a permanent solution for storage? I realize read/write speed won't be nearly as fast as internal space but i never use my SD slot and i cringe when i look at SSD replacement prices. And second questions is what would you recommend using it for? iPhoto and iTunes library?

Nobody, huh? Not even a regular SD card?

Third question. If i chose to use the Transcend JetDrive Lite, how would i transfer my iTunes and iPhoto library off the SSD and onto it?

I dunno if mine is spoiled. Most of the time my write speed is only 8mb/s and sometimes 58mb/s. My usb3.0 hard disk can read and write approximately about 100mb/s. =.=

I run parallels with windows 8.1 on it. Not good for games, flipboard lags plenty, but good enough for microsoft office.

I think there is a option for itune and iphotos. Saw from other thread. Not very sure about it.
