Music stops playing when I close out of it in multitasking. Why? I used to continue to play.
 
Thanks guys, I don't remember it being that way, but maybe because it's been a while since I have had a apple product.
 
Just don't close the app itself, it will keep playing. Leave it open and go use a different app and it should keep playing unless you use phone, camera or any app that won't let it keep playing.
 
Why are you trying to close it? The idea that closing "background" apps will improve battery life is a myth if that is what you are thinking.
