So I have a mid-2010 white unibody MacBook and recent got quoted out to $300 trade in value. I need a new MacBook and was wondering if I should go forth and trade it in before it decreases even further?

Another choice is to donate it to a non-profit and take a tax break. Be sure to clean the drives, reformat and reinstall the OS.

Personally I'd try my hand at selling it myself on Craigslist or eBay. I just did a quick search and the 2010 models are going for $450-550 depending on conditions and specs.
