Someone program a tweak already to toggle the dreaded menu bar in Mavericks, my MT>Lion machines are heaven to use because I have the entire desktop to fill up and enjoy, to be able to hide and reveal (toggle) the menu bar is so essential in my musical / video production work, as the mbp is mainly my desktop machine.

Anyone?????????????????:D

Hide my menu bar please, let me take back my screen real estate...

Love you all.

You don't like full screen mode? You can make the menu bar pop up with ctrl-fn-f2 (it doesn't stay up when you change focus). Admittedly an awkward 3 key press, but you can thumb over the fn-ctrl keys. And if you don't like that, change the settings to any combo you want in keyboard's system preferences (changing the fn key behavior is separate from all the other settings).
