I accidentally clicked on something (don't recall what) via Safari that i should not have and now that web browser is seriously infected with some sort of malware with the following symptoms:

- Clicking on an email to open it, or on hyperlinks within an email, or within web articles opens new, unrelated windows and tabs for adverts and other sites.

- Text in my own private website, as well as articles on the web, is now highlighted with double-underlined words (usually green) that create entirely new windows/adverts simply by rolling over them with my cursor.

- Writing emails is near impossible--constant spinning rainbow wheel, typing and scrolling stutters and gets 'stuck'.

- Netflix movies stutter and freeze (not a Netflix issue, but a Safari/malware one).

Someone please help. This is making my life hell. Thanks!
