There's a marketplace - catch is to be a member for minimum 6 months and have at least 250 posts.

Where is the Marketplace forum?
Time (as in six months membership of the forum) and number of posts - (250) combined - will give you access to the Marketplace.
You've met the 6 month requirement obviously, but you still have to achieve the 250 post requirement.
There is no grace for long-term members to get exceptions to this either.
You just have to begin to participate more.
