I like to rotate my screen on my 2010 Macbook Pro depending on how I use it. It worked fine until suddenly it didn't. When I set the rotation to 90°, my resolution will inverse and the desktop will get narrow, but the desktop itself won't rotate. Attached a screenshot for reference.

I tried restarting and noticed that the computer boots up rotated, but as soon as I login it will "correct itself" into what I described.

It was working perfectly fine before, and I don't see anything in Activity Monitor that would be causing this. The only thing that has changed from when it was working to now was a Safari update.

Any ideas?
