I have the MacBook 1,1 (2006 model), and it's been broken (Mac OS got corrupt) and it's only been fixed since May, and has the Ubuntu OS on it. The laptop only runs on A/C power, and if I take out the MagSafe charger, the laptop shoots off & and the MagSafe charger light stays on green, which means charged. I have being using my MacBook for a day, and it has been plugged in, and the light doesn't change. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do, besides buying a new battery. I've read that there were some faulty models released from Apple. Thanks for your co-operation.
