Can you tell by the packaging which version of AT3 (original vs rev.A) is inside?

I'm thinking of buying a new box for a family member and as such I might as well get them the older (initial) version of ATV3 if I can so that they can run it on the old firmware without any of the issues that keep plaguing more recent upgrades.

What is the easiest way to tell from the box alone, which version of ATV3 is inside?

The "new" Rev. A version has been out for over a year now so you're unlikely to find stock of the old version.
The first version is model A1427 while Rev. A is A1469.

Thanks. Maybe even the date (Copyright 201X) will be different on the box? Either way, I'll keep my eyes open for A1427 in the small print. :)

I'm currently living in Singapore where Apple TV hasn't really caught on that much, plus I'll be checking out some niche stores and not just the popular Apple retailers.

Worst case scenario is to get a refurbished one from overseas perhaps...
