SuperDrive vs OWC external Blu-Ray

Does anyone have this or have an opinion as to which would be better? Once in a while I do burn DVDs and would like a BR option if it's a low cost alternative... But not at the expense of reliability or ease of use

You can get a BluRay reader for under $80, and a BluRay burner for under $150, all portable. Plus, if you get a bluray drive you get the option to get the player software to watch movies.
