I ve been wondering why most of US movies and tv series use only iphone/ipad and macs.... does really Apple pay for that kind of promotion or it is just the strong brand name? I know that most of US citizens use only/mostly Apple products compared to people of other countries but its almost on more than 60% of movies and tv series... so....?

Where do you get that most US citizens use mostly or all Apple products?

Desktop OS market share http://www.statista.com/statistics/...ld-by-operating-systems-in-the-us-since-2009/

Smartphone market share http://www.cio.com/article/2376882/...rtphone-market-share-numbers-for-q1-2014.html (52% for Android)

There are a few shows that don't use exclusively Apple devices. One that comes to mind (since I'm binging on it on Netflix) is Scandal. That show uses Windows Mobile devices for phones, or did in the first 2 seasons. Another is Big Bang Theory, while there is an Apple presence on the set, there are still flashes of Windows devices.
