I am planning to use my MBP really strictly for art.

I might get the Intuos and connect it with it. Anyone here tried the Intuos with their MBP?

I am trying to decide on a good art app to use. Aside from Photoshop.

Ah haha.

Do you carry it around with you a lot? I heard there is a model of the CIntiq that lets you draw without having it connected to a computer.

Nope, it's always in my home.

I haven't heard about that portable Cintiq you mentioned, but I have heard about the ModBook Pro and ModBook Pro X.

The ModBook Pro is basically a 13" mid-2012 cMBP modified into an enclosure with a Wacom touchscreen, incorporating Cintiq technology.

The ModBook Pro X is a mid-2014 15" rMBP modified the same way as well.

Mid 2012 15" rMBP base model and I am still using Wacom Intuos2 6 x 8 tablet! I use it with Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am looking forward to get a new Wacom Intous Medium tablet later. :apple:
