Low resolution from iPhone 5s camera

Back in the motherland
It seems that some photos I take are really low resolution (seems like not even one megapixel), while others are fine. 'They are non HDR, non-flash pictures with decent lighting. The hair in the pics is all blurry. Does anyone have an idea why this might be?

It just ruined a perfect batch of pictures for me. :(
 
Assuming you are referring to the camera app, sounds like an out of focus condition if viewed like that through the photo app. Suggestion is to take some sample pictures and if not satisfied bring it to the apple store.
