I just bought an internal 2-TB HD (use Mac Pro tower) to back-up my most important files. While copying the files to the new HD, Time Machine was copying the new 2-TB HD. I went inside the designated Time Machine HD and opened up the "Backups.backupdb" folder and tried unsuccessfully to delete the most recent files. The message told me (pictured below) told me backups cannot be modified.
Need help.
Thanks!

You don't want to be in that file manually deleting things as it will break the backup set. What you want to do is go to the TM menu in the menu bar and select enter Time Machine from there, then find the file/folders you want to delete then right click and delete it.
