Mail app crashes when copying/pasting new draft email

I have Gmail set up with the Mail app. When I make a draft in the Drafts folder in Mail, and want to duplicate that draft so I can send out a bunch of versions, I click the message and then click Cmd C, and when I press Cmd V to paste it, the entire app crashes.

Any fix for this? It's been around since 10.9.0
