Hi all,

I'm currently with O2 in the UK and I pay £44.00 a month for the following;

  • 600 minutes
  • 1GB of data 4G
  • Unlimited Messages

As of tomorrow I'm moving to a sim only deal with Three where I get ;

  • 200 minutes
  • Unlimited data 4G
  • Unlimited Messages
  • 4GB tethering

200 minutes should be more than enough for me it's more the data I find myself purchasing more and more data each month.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with three? I don't mind purchasing the handset when I want a new phone especially when saving over £20 a month.

Mike.

You should indicate your thread/poll as being UK specific.

Three

£15 Sim Only

2000 Mins
5000 Texts
Unlimited 4G Data (Tethering Included)

Tesco UK (obviously)

£10 a month

1000mins
5000sms
1gb

I'm mostly on wifi, lucky enough to never really go anywhere that doesn't have free wifi so I barely use 200mb a month.

I also barely use 100 mins but this was their cheapest sim only at the time.

giffgaff. Piggybacks off of O2, but much cheaper. 6p text, 10p a minute outside of allowances.

I currently pay £5 a month for:

300 texts
60 minutes (plus an extra minute for every minute of incoming calls from another network.)
20MB data

Many other packages available though.

People still use minutes? Meh.

Verizon Share Everything with two lines for myself with discounts $130 2gb data unlimited voice/txt

giffgaff's £12 p/m goodybag

250 minutes
Unlimited texts
Unlimited data

However, they're upping their prices soon, so I'm contemplating a move to Three for the iPhone 6, as they have 4G where I live.

ATT family plan at the moment but I'm about to make a switch over to T-Mobile for the cheaper plans. I know the service area is a bit more limited, but it's going to save my family and I a bunch of money - plus they pay early termination fees. So yeah, never had a problem with ATT but I'm trying to save some moneys.

When is it likely O2 in the uk will have the iPhone 6 in stock would you think?

02

600 mins
Unlimited texts
750mb data
4G

£37 a month (O2 refresh)

Hopefully there won't be a shortage with the iPhone 6 like there was was with the 5s last year as went in the shop and had none in stock
