If Apple comes out with a large screen phone I might want to get my first iphone ( I have a Note 2 and Sony Z Ultra now). Questions:

I am on a real good T Mobile plan so I would want to use my current sim card, would I order a T Mobile phone and simply cancel the plan it is on, or can I order it without a plan?

Is it likely to be unlocked for foreign travel use? If not I should be able to get an unlock code online or while overseas.

Is it best to order it online from Apple?

Just get an unlocked (generally T-Mobile version) and you are all set (it's basically the full price of the phone). You can do it from Apple directly.
