Sony screen issue (pink cast)

Hi, today, I tried to connect an oldish sony HDTV to my mac mini as a second screen (Via HDMI). Weirdly, this second screen shows a pink and green cast, but only when using this input and when set to full resolution (1360x768) Any smaller resolutions have fine colour, but look *****. Ive tried connecting it via a strait HDMI and a MDP-HDMI lead but neither work. I don't think its a problem with the lead or port because the screen works fine with my xbox. Ive looked trough the apple screen help, but it doesn't really provide any help.

Any help appreciated!
 
Based on what you're saying, your assumptions are what I'd guess as well. I'm thinking it has to be either the cable you're using (are you using the same cable for the Xbox?) or the peripheral itself.
