Me and my friend are making apps together and want to put them up on the app store. We figure since there are two people involved, we have to register as a company and not an individual. However, is it possible to register as a company and assign both of us to be Team Agents? I read that you can only have 1 team agent but if that's so, how can you have a partnership? Can we just share an apple id/email and register as an individual?

Thanks!

Apple's developer programs do not allow partnerships to enroll, only individuals, and incorporated companies with a D&B number.

So you'll have to either legally incorporate your partnership, or enroll in two unconnected personal individual Mac or iOS developer accounts.
