So I payed $80, 60 plus shipping for a power mac g5, and it got damaged in the mail. It still boots fine and is superior specs wise to my 1.6 ghz as its a 2.3 DP, but the case is damaged beyond fixing.

So I was wondering what you guys think of these options:
Return for full refund
Keep (I asked for a $30 refund) as is, use 1.6 ghz for some other remedial task of some sort.
Sell it and cut my losses.
 
How bad is bad? Got any pics? My case had the busted rivet corner coming apart damage. This is it now:

My first one was bust in transit as well. The vendor took it back without query and got me another one. The G5s are plenty heavy and only really suitable for collection. No courier company has the time to babysit these and if they cannot stand rough handling then they will suffer en route.

its really bad. at the bottom the handles have disconnected from the case so the actual case has sunk into the bottom and lays crooked. the part of the case you remove wont even go back but of curiosity, how did you do it?

yeha i contacted them asking for a partial discount or replacement.
