Can I install VM after installing windows on a partition?

I got mavericks on my MBP 13' and i wanted to put windows on too.

I installed windows on an Exfat partition without using bootcamp or any type of VM.
Now i can't move files from one partition to the other.

Do i have to reinstall windows after putting a VM? or should i use bootcamp?
what is the easiest way to share files between partitions??
