I have a magic mouse. The batteries are brand new.
Any time it loses power, be it from changing batteries or it gets bumped, the mouse cannot reconnect.

Does anyone have a solution for this issue? I have read endless threads of arguments about remedies, or off the wall solutions, but I'd love to be able to change the batteries in my mouse without having to restart my computer.

Have you tried to remove the Bluetooth device (mouse)
and then add it again?
You should have a trackpad or wired mouse connected or know your keyboard commands.

If that does not help there are instructions out to delete the plist files for bluetooth as a last resort.
