Hi guys, so I have an idea as to how the apple watch will be priced and why.
38mm
Sport: 349
Standard: 499
Gold: 1k+
42mm
Sport: 399
Standard: 549 or 599
gold: 1k+
So pretty much if you guys went over to apple's website and read the description for the standard and edition watches you would see that they describe every band selection. "This is leather from cattle only grown on top of mt kilmanjaro, picked by authentic burganese sherpa's, or hand cast, plutonian obsidian" Im being some what egregious but you understand the point. Apple seems to be making the watch intended for high end clientele, which is also why its called apple watch not iwatch. Iwatch implies like an iphone, which is more for teenagers and a younger crowd.
Also, johnny ives reportedly said swiss watch would be in trouble, which makes one think that apple's high end watches will be competing with similar clientele base as swiss watch, or very expensive.
Tell me what you think, I think the standard watch could even run for more money, but who knows.
