Hopefully this question won't seem like a repeat or rehash of what everyone is saying and asking about iCloud but I just have a query regarding photos on my laptop that I would like to be on my iDevices.
So I am running iOS8 on both my iPad and iPhone and I have the iCloud Photo Library Beta option enabled which appears to be working to sync photos between my iPad and iPhone..Great
I have around 2,000 on my laptop that I would also like to see on my iPhone and iPad but I am wondering how I would go about getting these into the "cloud" to ensure that are on both devices? Is this something that I can even do atm without a 3rd party app?

Just to add that I am running Windows 8.1 and have the iCloud application installed on there too but it just seems to have synced 92 of the 200 odd photos I have on my iDevices so not sure what that is syncing, assuming just photostream stuff
