I have a white macbook (from late 2008 or early 2009 I believe) and updated to snow leopard yesterday. I am now running 10.6.8 and have 3GB of ram and 400+ GB of free disk space. Also, all of my software is up to date.

I've read online that I meet the requirements for Yosemite, but when I try to download it, it says "This version of OS X 10.10 cannot be installed on this computer." Any ideas on whats going on?
